Devorah Oxman

Devorah Oxman was born in Passaic, New Jersey but brought up on Mount Desert Island, Maine. She holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and M. Architecture from UC Berkeley.  She moved to Israel in her twenties to fulfill her lifelong dream of living in the Holy Land. She settled in the artist colony of Safed where she practiced architecture and founded a handmade ceramic tile company.  Currently she is living in Sharon Mass, temporarily away from her home in Safed. Her interest in working on the production of Zalmen grew out of her profound respect of the works of Elie Weisel and feels honored to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the production.
